No, wooden tableware is not suitable for dishwashers, microwaves, or ovens. High heat and prolonged exposure to water can cause natural wood to warp, crack, or lose its finish. Hand washing with mild soap is always recommended.
Yes! Our Heritage Series (made from 100% natural solid teak wood) is completely food-safe.
However, our Ocean Series (which features natural Mother of Pearl / seashell inlay) is designed for limited food contact due to its protective coating. It is food-safe only for dry, cool, and non-acidic foods, such as:
